Jen Sullivan and her mustang Angelo!
Angelo the BLM mustang ambassador - the BEST $25 EVER SPENT!! Angelo the mustang was adopted from the BLM as a two-year-old and came from the Sinbad herd in Utah. He is now 21 and living the high life in Virginia with me. He's a 14'1 all-around horse who is extremely intelligent, brave, and a very willing partner in crime. With looks like an Exmoor pony, he packs a BIG personality into a smaller body; his nicknames are The Hobbit and Little Man. He's one of the BEST equines I have ever known. I'm so privileged to have him in my life, and we have developed a deep bond over the years. Although he's quirky and not for everyone, I know all his quirks. There's no other horse I trust more and he trusts me. He's gone from a reactive, anti-social guy to a brave, Steady Eddy rock solid trail horse that has a calming influence on other horses. He's a curious, bold, confident, intrepid explorer who loves to jump right on the trailer with a 'Let's Go' attitude! He helped me regain my confidence after a bad accident. He is uniquely his own horse and totally does his own thing (we have that in common). He does not give a fig about what other horses are doing. If we're with a group, and the whole group turns right, he will turn left and would be happy to go on his merry way. At one time, I thought I wanted a flashier, more athletic horse, but now I realize he's worth his weight in gold!! There are so many mustangs waiting in holding pens that need homes that are diamonds in the rough. Please give mustangs a chance and spread the word how about how versatile and amazing they can be!

Soul Shine Horse Wear saddle pads - Angelo and I both LOVE color and being unique! I am a turquoise woman and he's a red guy, so we comprise and wear both - mainly red in fall and winter and mostly turquoise in spring and summer. These saddle pads are gorgeous and have ALL the colors!

BOGS boots - These are the most comfortable, long-wearing boots, whether for horse chores or long walks with the dogs. The winter boots keep my feet totally warm and have an excellent heavy-duty tread. I love the grab handles on the sides to pull them on, and they come in different heights, fun colors and patterns.

Masai Palm Beach beaded tack - While I was recovering from a broken wrist, I splurged and gave myself retail therapy by purchasing this gorgeous beaded tack set in our colors - red and turquoise! It is beautifully beaded by the Masai tribe in Africa. Although Angelo is not a polo pony, we live in a world where we can be anything we want to be!

Roeckl gloves - Undoubtedly the best-fitting, most comfortable, soft leather gloves! They are not bulky, they provide excellent grip and come in different colors. The winter gloves actually keep your hands warm. Plus, after they have come to the end of their life for riding, I recycle them for gardening gloves and they work great!

Carhartt helmet liner mask - I cannot live without this in the winter! It's so toasty warm and very thin, and I don't even notice that it's under my helmet. It covers my neck and ears so those are comfortable! It makes cold weather riding enjoyable, and keeps my head warm while doing outdoor horse chores.

Editor's note: I just had to get this picture on my website! Angelo is so adorable and it looks like there are so many wise thoughts going through his mind (like, seriously Mom?), and yet with perked up ears he's all in!
